Illinois 5Essentials Survey We need your input! Each year ESD 159 takes part in the Illinois 5Essentials Survey. Wondering why you should take the 5Essentials Survey? The 5Essentials Survey helps create a detailed picture of the inner workings of your child’s school. The anonymous results will help us guide school improvement. The survey window will close on March 31.
Preparing for the Weather The superintendent determines when and if conditions warrant the closing of schools. This decision is normally made in consultation with superintendents from district 227, 160, 163 and 162, village officials and our transportation provider.

Sankofa Enrichment Experience Session 2 The Sankofa Enrichment Experience is a lunch time program held once a week for our 4th and 5th grade scholars. Session 2 is for students at Sieden Prairie and Marya Yates.
